125 g flour
1 tb vanilla sugar
1 ts baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 egg, separated
185 g milk
2 tb butter, liquid
Combine dry ingredients, set aside. Whisk together egg yolk, milk and liquid butter.
Add flour mixture, stir well until smooth. Fold in whipped egg white.
Pour about 125 ml batter at a time onto a lightly greased preheated waffle iron,
bake until golden brown.
Serve with jam, sour cream or fruits, e.g. fresh strawberries and elderflower syrup,
as shown in
